Ryan is the bassist for This Kills Me (https://thiskillsme.net/), a Punkish Alt-Rock project with Matt Riggle, former member of 41 Gorgeous Blocks. Their Debut album, mixed by Bill Stevenson of the Descendents, was released in March 2019. Since then, This Kills Me has toured up and down the east coast, and played regularly in the Philadelphia area. You can get their entire album via bandcamp, spotify, or any of the major streaming services.
Fuzzy Slippers is Ryan’s Folk-Punk-Turned-art-punk project with Andrew Walsh, Mickey Collins and Nick Thomas. The band’s music mixes humor and political activism with high-energy, shoutable songs that reflect the current era of anxiety. Fuzzy’s debut live EP, (i still) LIVE at my Parent’s House, showcases Ryan as a bassist in a minimalist setting, with only an acoustic guitar, a bass, and some voices (and sometimes a kazoo). Since this EP, Fuzzy Slippers has become an electric 4-pice with Ryan on guitar, keys, and trumpet, and the band has begun working on it’s debut full-length.
Cortez Cortez is Ryan’s now-defunct experimental/art rock band. Cortez Cortez, named after Neil Young Song Cortez the Killer, was a 3-piece rock group with a penchant for experimentation, whether it be with noise and unusual recording technique, or playful deconstructions of the pop song structure.
